At One Family Pediatrics, we know how difficult it can be to find valuable resources when you have a child with special needs. We are here to help with 504 plans, physician portions of Katie Beckett Forms and referrals to therapy groups. In addition, below are some valuable resources that Dr. Lavania finds helpful for her patients:
- Debbie Dobbs
- If you have not met Debbie Dobbs, I highly recommend you do! She is a wonderful advocate for children and helps with IEP’s, 504 Plans, Medicaid Waivers, Respite and Funding Options. I attended one of her Katie Beckett Seminars and came back with lots of useful information.
- She provides a Navigating the Maze handout that is updated regularly. This handout had information about grants, funding, mobility/vehicle funding, educational resources, advocacy, service dogs, sports, airline assistance, wish granting organizations, etc.
